How do we delete or purge a project partition that can not be returned.

Dear guru,

Our database contains a project which includes an item from an away partitioned project. For some reason the partition was never returned. The original away project was partioned with RCA right for every body even the Administrator. So I am stuck with it.

How could I delete this item without having to play directly in the v6data folder on the server? I am open to use dxl approach. Thanks in advance,

Look in the 'Managing DOORS' manual for the section on Recovering Partitions. The access rights assigned by the partition definition should not affect this function. You will need the power to partition data and admin rights to the original data.
